Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary meets every Wednesday at 6:00pm in the Parish Center Holy Family Room.
We pray the Rosary, discuss works of mercy or other Catholic related activities.

St. Irene Eucharist Adoration
Every Thursday after 7:00am Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is offered in the chapel until 12:00pm. Come spend time with Jesus. Stay for 5 minues or as long as you like.
Grow closer to Our Lord in quiet prayer, thanksgiving and worship.

Donate First Communion Dresses
Are you looking for a home for a First Communion Dress? Would you like to help those in need?
Rest in His Arms conducts a First Communion Dress Closet annually to enable all girls to have a beautiful dress to wear on their very special day.
Drop off you donation in the bin located in the church vestibule August 1-30.

Lunch Bunch Luncheon
The Lunch Bunch Ministry will start off with a "Picnic Lunch" of Fried Chicken, salads, desserts, and beverages. Join us for fellowship, fun and food on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:30-2:00pm in the ACL.

First Friday Holy Hour
Join us for Holy Hour with exposition of the Holy Eucharist and benediction on September 4 at 7:00pm with Rosary at 6:30pm.

Little Flowers Girls Club
The Little Flowers Girls’ Club will be pausing for the Summer months and resume in the Fall. The Little Flowers Girls' Club is a program whose goal is to provide young Catholic Girls, ages five and up, with an opportunity to gather and learn about their Catholic heritage, faith, and tradition. The next meeting is Monday, September 7 at 6:00pm in the Mobiles.

The St. Irene Annual Golf Outing will be held on Friday, September 11th, 2026 at the Bliss Creek Golf Club, Sugar Grove. This year's proceeds will benefit St. Irene Parish. For questions, please contact Bob LaDeur at rladeur@hotmail.com.

St. Irene Parish will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2027 and we need your help to make this a celebration to remember!! We’re seeking people with a wide range of skills for small jobs to leadership roles, all to make this year a success. Be part of our Centennial Celebration!

Johnson Family Connection Meal
WELCOME BACK!! The first dinner of this school year is on September 17, 6:00pm. Tootsie Roll Drive
The Knights of Columbus Intellectual Disabilities “Tootsie Roll” Drive will be held the weekend of September 18-20.
The Knights will be soliciting for donations on the street corners in Warrenville and at weekend Masses at St. Irene. Also a GoFund.Me page has been setup for donations September through October see link below.

Donations for OUTREACH
Donate gently used clothing and small household items to those in need. The OUTREACH truck will be in the church parking lot on the weekend of September 19-20.

Lay Carmelites
Who are the Lay Carmelites? Would you like to strengthen your friendship with Jesus? Deepen your relationship with Mary? Perhaps you are being called to be a Lay Carmelite. A Lay Carmelite community meets monthly at St. Irene Parish. Anyone who is interested in learning more can contact Debbie Andrle at 708-363-1753 or by email at debbie.andrle24@gmail.com. Prayer Shawl and Capture the Spirit Ministry
Members of the Prayer Shawl and Capture the Spirit Ministry will meet in the Mobiles on Tuesday, September 23 from 6:30pm-8:00pm to gather as we work on our crochet/knitted projects for the ministry and share patterns. All are welcome - bring along a project you are working on and join in the fellowship.

Pilgrimage to The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion

THE DATE HAS BEEN SET! 2027's Annual Chili Cook-off will be January 30, 2027. Put this date in your calendar so you can attend the Parish event to kick off the new year. Competition and comradery is always in abundance when we participate.

Lunch Bunch Ministry Help Wanted
We are looking for ministers to take turns to help
- coordinate/organize
- find speakers or entertainment
- setup (Wednesday afternoon before the lunch)
- bake desserts
- cleanup
The luncheons are scheduled the first Thursday of the months of September – May. Please find it in your hearts to minister to this wonderful group of our faith community. Help Our Neighborhood Pantry
Our neighborhood pantry serves all of Warrenville. You can drop off donations at 29W260 Batavia Road (next door to Immanual Presbyterian Church), on Tuesdays 11:00 - 1:00pm or Sundays 1:00 - 3:00pm. Thank you for your generosity.

Flag Retirement
Do you have an American Flag or Military Flag, that is a bit torn or tattered? Bring it to church and depost it in the flag box found next to the reception desk in the Narthex. It will get a proper "flag retirement."
