We are looking for ministers to take turns to help 

• coordinate/organize
• find speakers or entertainment
• setup (Wednesday afternoon before the lunch)
• bake desserts
• cleanup

The luncheons are scheduled the first Thursday of the months of September – May/June. Please find it in your hearts to minister to this wonderful group of our faith community. This season will run from September 12-December 10 and be facilitated by Bob Heipp. It will include weekly videos on The Creed - Part 1: The Father using the Catechism of the Catholic Church. You are invited to follow along with us this season, utilizing our workbook download. Journal along each week reflecting on God's presence in your life. For questions, contact Bob on 331-266-4422.

Knights of Columbus Intellectual Disabilities Drive continues through October.  Please visit the GoFund.Me page link below that has been setup for donations during the month of October.

The proceeds from this raffle will support the Illinois Vocations Program and needy families in our community. Raffle books will be available for purchase during hospitality or you can contact Jeff or Laurie Schmitz.

Join us for the Warrenville Community Trunk or Treat event at St. Irene on Saturday, October 25th  from noon – 2 PM. There will be games, snacks and decorated trunks. A donation of a non-perishable food item for the Neighborhood Food Panty is welcomed!

The Knights of Columbus "Feed My Starving Children" Volunteer Food Packing Event on Saturday, November 1 at 9:00am-10:45am. Come join the Knights and other parishioners at the Aurora location. 

St. Irene Parish cordially invites you and your family to celebrate our Faithful departed at the Weekend Masses, November 1-2, 2025. To commemorate our faithful departed, bring a framed photo of your loved one to be displayed. The Little Flowers Girls’ Club is a program whose goal is to provide young Catholic Girls, ages five and up, with an opportunity to gather and learn about their Catholic heritage, faith, and tradition. Next meeting is Monday, November 3 at 6:00pm in the Mobiles.  

St. Irene's Lunch Bunch Ministry will meet Thursday, November 6 at 11:30am in the ACL. Please join us for lunch and an activity. Look to the bulletin and Flock Notes for the theme of this month's luncheon.

On the evening before his Passion and Death, Jesus asked his sleepy apostles to pray quietly with him in the Garden of Gethsemane, “Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?”   On November 7 at 7:00pm, we will celebrate our First Friday Holy Hour with Exposition of the Holy Eucharist and Benediction. For those who would like to extend the Hour, the parish rosary group will pray the rosary at 6:30 PM.

Do you have a birthday or anniversary in October? Come to any of our weekend Masses on November 15 - 16, to receive a blessing. Then join us for hospitality after Mass!

On Sunday, November 16 after 10:00 am Mass, join us for food, fun, and faith in the Mobiles!

Who are the Lay Carmelites? Would you like to strengthen your friendship with Jesus? Deepen your relationship with Mary? Perhaps you are being called to be a Lay Carmelite. Ring out your thanks! Join our Handbell choir! Rehearsals, Mondays 6:15-7:15pm November 10, 17, and 24. Play at the 9:00am Mass on Thanksgiving and the 10:00am Mass on November 30.
