Matthew 6:1-6

In the third major part of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ teaching concerns three essential religious practices. Almsgiving, prayer, and fasting are to be done to honor God, not to bring attention to self. He cautions the disciples about behavior they are to avoid and the proper attitude they must have when giving alms, praying, and fasting.

Staying focused on you on this journey of life is not easy. There are so many things that catch my attention and lure me away. Hold on to me, I pray.
